behind the scenes:// [son of davinci] [gnat is cool] [ADAMJ&STEVEJ] [weenie $4$ life] [comics kick ass] [un-united kingdom] [i (heart) fr] SKETCH.01 while sketching costumes this jacket turned out looking like Mathildas SKETCH.02 i liked the head structure so i decided to see if i could turn it around SKETCH.03 more sketches of the head, not having fun with the ¾ turn, the chin is giving me problems SKETCH.04 a bit more sketches of the head as well as a couple referenced straight from the movie SKETCH.05 a full body pose i tried to get the same feel as the original tiny color sketch...didn't work out that way SKETCH.06 more sketches of elements i may or may not use in the final costume design.  the "mod" design was something i felt fit her more grown and cultured personality SKETCH.FINAL the final design/layout for the piece

creator commentary:// this piece was done for now 2 defunct online contests but eventually just turned into a personal labor of love for Luc Besson's classic film Léon: the Professional / i hope to someday realize this idea as i feel it can be sequelized so long as Luc stays true to form.  here's a sketch tried with less angular edges...and color!  : SOFT :
